About the role

Position: Reach Stacker / Container Forklift Operators 

Status: Full Time

Rates: hourly rate + penalties

Location: Outer Harbor SA

Specific Responsibilities 

  • Efficient operation of a Container Forklift (Reach stacker) 
  • Empty container handling experience
  • Load and unload trucks with containers as instructed and as per daily operating procedures
  • Reposition container/s within the depot as required
  • Keeping the yard tidy and systematic
  • Stack containers as per Safe Working Instructions
  • Complete all necessary associated documentation 
  • Take good care of vehicles / plant under your care 
  • Ensure compliance with all Safety, Fatigue, Heavy vehicle operating guide lines, Loading requirements, axle weights, adhering to vehicle specific permits  

Qualifications and Experience 

  • Current Reach Stacker license
  • Experience with container forklift operations (Preferred)
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable to work in a demanding environment 
  • Ability to work well within a small team environment 
  • Comply with regular Drug and Alcohol testing 
  • Must be fit for work with a good level of fitness and general health
