The 2IC role

As a 2IC or Second in Charge, you will assist the Director of Service in delivering an exceptional experience for the children in our care. This will include:

Assist with the creation and implementation of enriching experiences based on the preferences of the children in your program (programming)
Support with ensuring your program in compliance according to industry regulations.
Interact with our parents and help them with enquiries wherever possible
Engage with the school community, attending events, assemblies, etc when the Director can't attend.
Play and have FUN with primary school aged children
Co-manage or coordinate during the school holiday program
The hours for this role are Monday to Friday:
7:00am - 9:00am, and
2:45pm - 6:00pm.
Total: 26.25 hours per week.

You

You're passionate about kids, have loads of energy and can just love to have fun
You're a strong team player with excellent problem-solving skills and a can-do, positive attitude
Ideally you have previous experience working in Before and After School Care or education, but this is by no means essential - we can train you
You have outstanding communication skills, both verbal & written
You are looking for stable, permanent part time hours - up to 25 per week.
You are qualified or studying towards an ACECQA recognised qualification in Victoria. Education, Youth, Sports Science, Social Work, Health related, and many more.... check for more information
