About the role  

We are looking for Fixed Plant Asset Health Technicians for upcoming opportunities across various sites in the Pilbara. These roles are a great opportunity for safety conscious individuals looking to continually improve and contribute to our culture and world class asset. You'll be part of a friendly and high performing team, supported by your leader to grow and achieve your own personal goals as well as the goals of the team. You'll work an 8 days on, 6 off roster which will give you more time to spend on the things that are important to you and the people in your life. 

Reporting to the Supervisor, you will:   

  • Safely execute routine and unplanned structural and condition-based

maintenance activities on fixed plant assets, using specialised techniques

such as visual, vibration analysis, magnetic particle, liquid penetrant,

ultrasonic and eddy current testing

  • Inspect, identify and monitor cracks in fixed plant assets and provide guidance

to the execution team on required actions for identified cracks

  • Conduct inspections on high stress points in assets to determine asset

condition (absence of cracks)

What you'll bring   

  • A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team  
  • Respect for others and an all-inclusive mindset  
  • A working knowledge of computerised maintenance management

systems such as SAP

  • Mechanical Trade qualification and/or reliability engineering Background
  • A Manual C-class Australian driver's licence

Desirable

  • NDT Level 1
  • Thermography Level 1
  • Oil Analysis Level 1
  • Emerson Machinery Health Manager Software (MHM)
