Despatch Coordinator

The Role

We're looking for a motivated Despatch Coordinator & Load Planner to join our Wacol team on a permanent full-time basis, working 12:00pm – 8:00pm, Monday to Friday. Reporting to the Despatch Supervisor, you'll coordinate warehouse and transport activities to ensure efficient deliveries and excellent customer service.

What you'll be doing:

• Scheduling daily delivery runs to meet customer requirements
• Coordinating freight contractors and ad-hoc transport needs
• Maintaining accurate transport records and metrics
• Liaising with Sales and Processing teams on priorities and paperwork
• Resolving customer queries promptly
• Coordinating inbound and outbound freight timeslots
• Supporting warehouse order distribution and other logistics duties

What we're looking for:

• Experience in logistics, scheduling, or load planning (steel industry experience highly regarded)
• Strong knowledge of NHVR rules and Brisbane geography
• Confident with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
• Excellent communication, customer service, and organisational skills
