This vacancy is maternity leave relief for an initial period of up to 40 weeks for 24 hours per week; the hours and period of employment may change according to the maternity leave requirements. There is also the possibility of an extension at same / reduced hours.

About the role

Tweed Valley Hospital Physiotherapy Department is seeking a suitably qualified senior women's health physiotherapist to work within the Tweed Valley Hospital outpatient department.

The successful candidate/s will be responsible for managing a caseload focused on female continence and pelvic floor disorders, chronic pelvic pain, and musculoskeletal issues related to pregnancy and postpartum. The ideal candidate will have postgraduate qualifications and/or equivalent CPD level training in Continence and Pelvic Floor Conditions (i.e. continued CPD and extra courses completed for women's health conditions, treatment and management) as well as experience in internal pelvic floor assessment, treatment and management. Additionally, the successful candidate will also provide strategic clinical and service advice and input into a review of women's health services across the Tweed/Murwillumbah/Byron network.
