Seeking a dynamic leadership role in a thriving regional centre?

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced and motivated manager to lead a highly regarded, long-established greyhound racing club. This role offers the chance to build on the Bendigo Greyhound Racing Association's (BGRA) proud history, harness the momentum of its success within the local community, and shape a strong and prosperous future.

Reporting to the BGRA Club Committee, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing race meetings, events and facilities to industry standards
  • Overseeing non-racing activities including the bistro, functions and fundraising events
  • Accountability for all finance and administration functions
  • Driving marketing, business development initiatives and strategic planning
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with Greyhound Racing Victoria, Greyhound Clubs Victoria and other key partners
  • Providing effective leadership and supervision to a small team of employees and contractors

Experience within the racing industry will be highly regarded but is not essential. What is critical is demonstrated leadership capability, sound business acumen, and the ability to manage diverse operations in a professional and forward-looking manner.
