Sydney Trains' Tangara fleet makes up a quarter of our suburban rail fleet.
To ensure its longevity, the Tangara Fleet Life Extension project will upgrade operating systems, modernise onboard passenger information systems, and enhance accessibility features for mobility-impaired passengers.
The project will also help build our future workforce capabilities, strengthen local economies and support the long-term growth of NSW's transportation industry.
Ensure all components are thoroughly inspected for quality and compliance
Compare parts against engineering drawings to verify compliance standards
Assess items according to the Kitting Tracker and verify labeling accuracy
Preferred background in mechanical trade or engineering, with proven hands on experience

This role is a Fixed-Term position based in Auburn, NSW.
About You
You're someone with a sharp eye for detail and quality and are an expert when it comes to matching parts to technical specifications checking quality and compliance.
You come from a similar quality and inspection background and will bring your practical experience to the TFLE team.
