Electrician - Switchboard Technician

We're looking for a motivated individual to work alongside our skilled tradespeople in the construction of high-quality electrical switchboards. You'll contribute to a variety of projects across Australia, ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality and functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assembly of Electrical components into switchboards and cabinets.
• Building and assembling busbar systems.
• Mechanical assembly of switchboard enclosures.
• Conducting functional testing on completed switchboards.

This role is ideal for a results-driven individual passionate about delivering quality products. You'll help our manufacturing team meet delivery targets and exceed customer expectations. While primarily factory-based, occasional short-term off-site work may be required as part of your skill development.

Skills, Experience and requirements

Although not necessary, the below experience and capabilities will be favoured.

• Proven record of performance in your personal and professional life.
• Experience in manufacturing Electrical Switchboards.
• An Electrical Supervisors (or contractors) license.
• Knowledge of switchboard manufacturing processes and procedures.
• Awareness of relevant standards for designing, manufacturing, and testing Electrical Switchboards.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to contribute effectively in a team environment.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• The ability to manage and organise your time and resources efficiently.
• A willingness to assist and support your team members.
• The ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively.
• A willingness to lead staff in collaborative projects.
• A current NSW Driver's License.
• A Construction White Card.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• A police background check (or be willing to complete one).
• The ability to pass a pre-employment medical assessment, including Drug and Alcohol testing.
• Willingness to travel and occasionally stay overnight as part of your role.
• Electrical trade certificate required for this position.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of electrical experience required.
