Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Enrolled Nurse (EN) to join our growing team. As an EN at Vitalis Health, you will provide high-quality, evidence-based nursing care under the supervision and direction of a Registered Nurse, across a range of settings including home-based care, community health, and hospital-in-the-home programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver nursing care in accordance with care plans and under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
  • Assist in the observation, assessment, and reporting of patients' health conditions and progress.
  • Administer medications and treatments in accordance with legal and professional standards.
  • Provide wound care, infection control management, and assistance with activities of daily living.
  • Support patients in rehabilitation, chronic disease management, and palliative care programs.
  • Educate and support patients and families on basic health management and post-treatment care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and records.
  • Comply with organisational policies, infection control, and workplace health & safety standards.

Essential Criteria

  • Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse.
  • Minimum 1 year of work experience.
  • Strong clinical skills, with the ability to work independently and manage complex patient needs.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid Australian Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle.

Desirable Criteria

  • Experience in hospital-in-the-home (HITH), palliative care, rehabilitation, or community nursing.
  • Additional qualifications in a relevant nursing specialty.
  • Exposure to aged care, chronic disease management, or home-based healthcare.
