The Role
We are seeking an organised, analytical, and motivated Inventory & Replenishment Planner to join our Sydney-based Supply Chain Team on a full-time basis.
You will be responsible for ensuring optimal stock availability across multiple product categories, managing forecasting, replenishment, and purchasing to meet customer demand while minimising excess inventory and waste.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain stock levels across multiple warehouses and product categories.
- Forecast demand using sales trends, seasonality, and promotional activity.
- Generate and manage purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery from suppliers.
- Analyse inventory KPIs including stock turns, fill rate, and aged stock.
- Maintain accurate data and parameters in ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Pronto, or NetSuite).
- Collaborate with Procurement, Production, Sales, and Logistics to achieve service and efficiency targets.
- Identify areas for process improvement in inventory control and planning.
Required Experience & Abilities
- Minimum 2 years' experience in inventory planning, replenishment, or supply chain, ideally within the FMCG or food manufacturing industry.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with advanced Excel capability.
- Experience using ERP or MRP systems (SAP, Pronto, NetSuite or equivalent).
- High attention to detail with strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities across departments.
- Self-motivated and proactive with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
