An exciting opportunity has come up to work as part of our multi-disciplinary High Risk Foot Team, across hospital and community services. The position is for a 12 month maternity locum, with the possibility of extension.

Employment Type: Temporary Part Time until 20 November 2026 (with possibility of ongoing employment)

What you'll be doing

The Podiatrist provides a high level podiatry service to consumers appropriate to the service. This includes assessment, reviews, screening and risk stratification of consumers.

People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:

  1. Must hold registration with the Podiatry Board of Australia.
  2. Demonstrated well developed interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders. Demonstrated computer literacy and ability to use health information systems.
  3. Demonstrated skills and knowledge in the provision of evidenced based Podiatry service to consumers, carers and families requiring assessment, intervention, appropriate referral and discharge planning.
  4. Proven ability to exercise professional judgement commensurate with years of experience and to establish effectively collaboratively working relationships within a multi-disciplinary team and inter-agency networks.
