We are looking for
Permanent Part Time up to 0.6 FTE.
What is our Senior Respiratory Sleep Scientist role?
This position performs complex and specialised tests and treatments at an advanced practice level. Provides supervision, mentorship, and guidance to Sleep Scientists. Is responsible for specific tasks, under the direction of the Senior Sleep Scientist in Charge, including Education and Training, Quality Improvement and Accreditation, and the operation of the Sleep Service (Sleep Laboratory, Therapy Clinic and Home Mechanical Ventilation Service). Practices as a Senior Respiratory Sleep Scientist in accordance with the Australia and New Zealand Sleep Science Association (ANZSSA) and North Metropolitan Health Service (NMHS) policies and guidelines.

SCGH is one of Australia's leading teaching tertiary hospitals. Located at the Queen Elizabeth II Medical Centre 4km from Perth city centre, SCGH provides a comprehensive range of clinical services including trauma, emergency and critical care, orthopaedics, general medicine, general surgery, and cardiac care. It is home to WA's only comprehensive cancer centre - the largest cancer treatment centre in the State - and is the State's principal hospital for neurosurgery and liver transplants.
