Production Kitchen all rounder

We are looking for a production kitchen all rounder to assist our drivers; and chefs in the operational day to day of our kitchen
The ideal candidate will have a can-do attitude, get long working with people, and a high level of attention to detail
Duties:
- Organise and pack stock
- Maintain OHS and cleanliness standards
- Receiving and storage: Unpacking, checking, and properly storing incoming food deliveries, including perishable and frozen items.
- Cleaning and maintenance: Maintaining a clean and sanitary environment by cleaning equipment, benches, floors, and other kitchen areas. This also includes waste removal and dishwashing.
- Food safety and hygiene: Adhering to strict food safety standards and personal hygiene regulations, which can involve wearing protective gear and handling food appropriately to prevent contamination.
- Inventory and restocking: Retrieving food items for chefs and restocking supplies as needed.
Skills:
- Adaptability: The ability to perform a wide range of tasks and switch between them as the kitchen requires.
- Attention to detail: Being observant of what needs to be done without constant supervision.
- Physical stamina: The role can be physically demanding, requiring the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Food safety knowledge: A strong understanding of hygiene and food safety principles is crucial.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.95 – $32.26 per hour
