Were working with a leading client on an exciting 6-month engagement, offering the chance to bring your expertise in modern UI frameworks to a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

About the Role

Our client is seeking a seasoned Senior Front End Developer with deep expertise in React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks. You'll be joining a cross-functional team delivering customer-facing digital solutions. The role requires a developer who is not only technically strong, but also passionate about clean design, performance, scalability, and best-practice UI engineering.

Youll be instrumental in designing and implementing highly responsive and modular front-end applications using a micro frontend architecture, and driving the UI delivery roadmap.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement high-quality front-end code using React, TypeScript, and SCSS.

  • Develop reusable components and libraries for future use, maintaining scalable architecture using micro frontend principles.

  • Collaborate with UX designers, backend developers, and product owners to ensure seamless integration and user-centric experiences.

  • Apply responsive design techniques to ensure functionality across all modern browsers and mobile platforms.

  • Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to mid/junior developers within the team.

  • Ensure high performance and responsiveness of applications with a focus on cross-browser compatibility.

  • Contribute to improving development processes and workflows.

Skills & Experience

  • Strong commercial experience with React and TypeScript.

  • Proficient with SCSS, SASS, and Less for styling modern UIs.

  • Demonstrated experience working with Micro Frontend Architecture.

  • Deep understanding of responsive design and accessibility standards.

  • Solid grasp of component-driven development and state management patterns.

  • Familiarity with modern development toolchains (Webpack, Babel, NPM/Yarn, etc.).

  • Experience working in Agile environments and contributing to sprint ceremonies.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to thrive in collaborative team settings.

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with backend integration using REST APIs or GraphQL.

  • Experience working in large-scale enterprise applications or digital platforms.

  • Exposure to CI/CD tools and cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure).
