Drillers Assistant/offsider

About the role:

Trimac Drilling is Looking for a Motivated person to fill their Driller's Assistant role.

Experience not essential but prefferred. position will be Victorian Based on a Contract/Casual basis (full time hours) with accomodation and meals provided.

Your main responsibility will be to successfully assist the Driller in running a safe and productive drilling operation by:

• pre-starting and maintaining vehicles & equipment
• housekeeping of vehicles/Rig/Plant/tools and worksite
• assisting Driller in daily drilling operations
• maintaining High standard of core presentation
• assist Driller with Maintaining accurate Data of drill hole
• maintenance of Downhole drilling and Ancillary equipment

Skills and experience:

• Experience as a Diamond Driller's Assistant

• Mechanical aptitude, problem solving and troubleshooting skills

• Great communication skills: Verbal, written and visual

• Can do attitude

• punctual

• Physically fit

• Able to pass pre employment medical/drug test and provide NPC (national police certificate) valid within 6 months

• Be a team player

Preferable skills:

- Certification II in Drilling Operations (not essential)

• More than 1 year experience as a Driller's Assistant (not essential)

HR license (not essential)
