Automated Security is a long-established, locally respected provider of residential and commercial security and automation solutions across the Fraser Coast. With continued growth and a strong pipeline of work, we're seeking experienced technicians to join our team based in Hervey Bay.

We specialise in Alarms, access control systems, CCTV, automated gates, and automatic doors — and we're looking for professionals who take pride in delivering quality outcomes.

The Role

As a Security Technician at Automated Security, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality installations and service across a range of electronic security systems. Your day-to-day work will include:

  • Installing and commissioning alarms, access control, and CCTV systems across residential and commercial sites
  • Diagnosing faults and performing repairs with minimal supervision
  • Conducting routine maintenance and system upgrades
  • Ensuring all work is documented accurately using mobile workflow tools
  • Liaising with clients and team members to resolve technical issues professionally
  • Maintaining compliance with WHS and relevant standards

You'll work independently and as part of a close-knit team, using smart workflows and mobile tools to deliver reliable, well-documented service.

What You'll Bring

  • Proven experience in alarms, access control, and CCTV systems
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • White Card and relevant trade certifications (e.g. Security Installer's Licence, Cabling Licence etc.)
  • Drivers Licence (preferably manual)
