Yardperson

Tropical Waste Services are looking for a Yardperson to join our team.

We are a locally owned and operated company servicing Townsville and Surrounding areas.

Your Skills and Responsibilities:

• Current Forklift and drivers' licence (essential)
• Experience loading and unloading trucks.
• Load and unload equipment from vehicles using safe loading and unloading procedures.
• Perform general yard duties, maintaining facilities to ensure a safe and organised yard.
• Sorting and organising IBCs and drum contents.
• Cleaning and basic maintenance of oil collection equipment, such as IBCs and drums.
• Clean and prepare toilets and other hire equipment ready for delivery.
• Provide minor repairs and maintenance on hire equipment.
• Prepare Assets for delivery.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and ensure a high standard of Safety compliance.
• Ability to work both autonomously and with other team members.
