1. Position Purpose

The Storeperson / Pick Packer is responsible for ensuring the efficient, safe, and accurate handling of materials, products, and equipment within the TMA Truganina Warehouse.

The role supports inbound and outbound operations through picking, packing, dispatching, and storing goods using warehouse management systems (RF scanning), ensuring orders are fulfilled to the required standard and timeframes.

2. Key Responsibilities

Receiving & Inbound:

· Unload, check, and record incoming goods against delivery documentation.

· Ensure all products are stored safely and accurately in assigned locations.

· Report any damaged or incorrect stock immediately.

Order Picking & Packing:

· Accurately pick and pack customer and internal orders as per pick slips or RF device instructions.

· Prepare goods for dispatch ensuring correct labelling, wrapping, and load stability.

· Meet daily order accuracy and timeliness targets.

Dispatch & Inventory Support:

· Load and unload trucks safely using forklifts and pallet jacks.

· Support stock counts, cycle counts, and inventory adjustments as required.

· Use RF scanners and ERP/WMS systems to update stock movements in real time.

· Assist with replenishment of pick locations and general stock organisation.

Equipment & Safety:

· Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment safely and responsibly.

· Conduct daily pre-start inspections on forklifts and report faults.

· Adhere to TMA Group's WHS, Chain of Responsibility, and Quality standards.

· Maintain clean, organised, and hazard-free work areas at all times.

Teamwork & Communication:

· Work collaboratively with fellow warehouse and logistics team members.

· Follow instructions from supervisors and communicate issues promptly.

· Support continuous improvement and training initiatives across warehouse functions.

3. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

· Order accuracy ≥ 99%

· On-time order fulfilment

· Zero safety incidents or equipment damage

· Positive contribution to team productivity and warehouse standards

· Compliance with PPE and WHS policies

4. Skills, Experience, and Attributes

Essential:

· –2 years' experience in warehouse, logistics, or pick packer roles.

· Experience using RF scanning devices for inventory or order processing.

· High attention to detail and accuracy.

· Physically fit and capable of manual handling (up to 20 kg).

· Good communication and teamwork skills.

· Reliable, punctual, and safety focused.

Preferred:

· LF Forklift Licence with practical experience in high-volume warehouse operations.

· Experience with ERP/WMS systems (e.g., Syteline, SCE, CERM or similar).

· Understanding of Chain of Responsibility and warehouse compliance requirements.

5. Reporting Relationships

Reports To: Warehouse Supervisor / Warehouse Manager

Direct Reports: None

Internal Relationships: Warehouse, Dispatch, Production, Administration

External Relationships:       Freight providers, delivery drivers, suppliers

6. Workplace Environment

· Fast-paced warehouse and logistics environment.

· On-site role at Truganina facility.

· Exposure to forklifts, truck traffic, and material handling equipment.

· PPE required at all times (hi-vis, safety boots, gloves).
