About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic Apprentice Carpenter to join our team at MB Building Group in Eltham, Victoria. This full-time role will allow you to learn and develop your carpentry skills as part of a supportive and experienced team. You will be involved in a variety of residential and commercial construction projects, gaining hands-on experience in all aspects of the carpentry trade.
What you'll be doing
- Assisting qualified carpenters with the construction, installation and maintenance of wooden structures, fixtures and fittings
- Reading and interpreting drawings and specification
- Installing doors, windows, flooring, cabinetry and other building components
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Participating in ongoing training and development to further your carpentry skills
What we're looking for
- A passion for carpentry and construction
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Good physical fitness and the ability to stand, lift and work for extended periods
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Drivers licence
