Assistant Accountant / Bookkeeper | Brisbane CBD | Permanent role

Your new company

This well-known Australian company that leads the way in their industry is seeking an experienced Assistant Accountant / Bookkeeper to join their growing team on a full-time permanent basis. The role will be based in their Brisbane CBD-based offices, which offers excellent end-of-trip facilities and are located close to public transport connections. You will also be able to work from home 2 days per week after approx. 3 months.

Your new role

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will work in a large, dynamic, and high-performing finance team. You will be responsible for a range of duties including reconciliations, onboarding new clients, setting up accounts, liaising with various internal & external stakeholders and supporting the finance team as required.

What you'll need to succeed

To be considered for this role, you will have completed your accounting degree and, ideally have commenced your CPA or CA studies (or soon plan to). You will have experience in accounting and reconciliations. Strong communications skills, attention to detail and accuracy will see you succeed in this role. Unfortunately, this role will not suit a graduate with no accounting experience.
