2026 Primary Teachers - Logan Village Campus

Prep to Year 6 | Multiple Positions Available

Due to continued campus growth, King's is seeking passionate and faith-filled Primary Teachers to join our team in 2026. We are looking for educators who pursue excellence in both faith and learning.

The successful candidates will be God honouring educators who are committed to Christian education and the delivery of high-quality learning experiences through differentiated instruction. They will demonstrate a strong understanding of effective pedagogy, a commitment to academic excellence, and the ability to tailor learning to meet the needs of all students - including providing challenge and extension for high-achieving and high-potential learners. A growth mindset, strong collaboration skills, and a capacity to contribute to a culture of continuous improvement are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build positive, respectful, and supportive relationships with students to foster engagement, wellbeing, and a strong sense of belonging.
  • Establish and maintain open, professional communication with parents and caregivers, providing timely updates on student progress and achievements.
  • Deliver engaging, data-informed lessons aligned with the Australian Curriculum.
  • Committed to achieving exceptional learning growth across all levels of student ability.
  • Engage collaboratively with colleagues and school leadership to support shared goals, curriculum delivery, and student success.
  • Maintain high expectations for student achievement, behaviour, and personal growth.

Successful applicants will:

  • Demonstrate an active Christian faith.
  • Deliver high-quality, differentiated learning that engages, challenges, and extends every student.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a culture of growth, excellence, and care.
  • Build strong partnerships with parents and contribute to the wider life of the College.
  • Have experience with MultiLit programs (highly regarded).
  • Display a strong ability to teach foundational numeracy skills.
  • Take initiative and work collaboratively to drive year-level projects.
  • Confidently integrate digital tools and emerging technologies into the classroom.
  • Bring experience in student leadership programs.
  • Demonstrate experience implementing Project-Based Learning (PBL).

Role will commence in Term 1, JANUARY)

Your curriculum vitae should include details for;

  • at least 2 recent professional referees (including your current employer)
  • at least 1 referee who can attest to your suitability to work within the values and culture of an expanding Christian school (preferably from a pastor or minister).

ABOUT OUR COLLEGE

King's is an expanding, multi-campus school that places paramount importance on the development of the whole child, with a particular focus on providing every student the opportunity to develop Christian leadership skills that will prepare them for their future. Our programs challenge and shape students' thinking and understanding of their role in the world.

Our College currently consists of 3 dynamic campuses, with several more campuses in the planning stages, serving the communities in which they are located.

The REEDY CREEK CAMPUS (on the southern end of the Gold Coast) has more than 2600 students on-site, from Early Learning through to Year 12. This campus also includes a Trade Training College.

Our PIMPAMA CAMPUS (on the northern end of the Gold Coast) currently has over 2000 students on-site, from Early Learning to Year 12.

King's LOGAN VILLAGE CAMPUS (in south-west Logan) currently has over 1000 students on-site, offering places for students from Early Learning through to High School.
