About the role

The Business Manager Young People Directorate is a critical role that provides support to the Deputy Commissioner Young People in the management of human resource, finance, assets and other business services within the Directorate. The position contributes significantly to the strategic leadership, direction and management of the Directorate's Executive and Business Services.

We are looking for a motivated professional who can:

• Provide a consultancy service for the management of business improvement matters.
• Provide advice to Senior Executive and other senior staff within the Directorate.
• Prepare and present reports, papers and high-level correspondence to meet the needs of an executive business area.
• Ensure that resources including human, financial and physical assets are available and effectively deployed to meet the needs of the Directorate.
• Develop and deliver a broad range of financial management services, including financial planning, budget preparation and financial information systems.

Eligibility

Permanent positions – To be eligible for appointment to permanent positions in the West Australian Public Sector you must be an Australian citizen or have permanent resident status in Australia.
