OSHC Director – St Brigid's School

St Brigid's School is seeking a dedicated and student-focused OSHC Director to lead our Before and After School Care service. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families while working alongside a committed team of educators.

Position Details:

  • Classification: ESO Grade 5
  • Hours: 5 days/week – Monday to Friday

  • Morning: 6:30am–9:30am

  • Afternoon: 2:30pm–6:15pm
  • Total: 37.5 hours/week during school terms (41 weeks/year)

About the Role:

As OSHC Director, you will oversee the daily operations of our OSHC service, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment. You will lead a team of educators, design and implement high-quality programs aligned with the School Age Care Framework, and foster strong relationships with children, families, and the wider school community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the OSHC service, ensuring smooth operations and a nurturing atmosphere.
  • Develop, implement and evaluate engaging programs that support children's learning and wellbeing.
  • Mentor and support staff, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Build positive relationships with students, families and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with National Quality Standards, WHS and other regulatory requirements.
  • Manage administrative tasks including budgeting, rostering and record-keeping.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Approved ACECQA Diploma-level qualification

  • Current Working with Children Check (WWCC) and clearance to work in Catholic Education South Australia.
  • RRHAN-EC Training (Responding to the Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect – Education and Care).
  • HLTAID012 First Aid Certificate.
