Trainee Melanographer

Molechecks Australia is a highly regarded skin cancer diagnosis clinic and is looking to expand its established team of Melanographers.

The successful applicant will undertake computerised screening of patients to detect potentially life-threatening melanoma and other skin cancers, in a medical environment.

Preferably you will have a background in a health-related field.

You must demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and have exceptional attention to detail.

Knowledge of basic computer systems and electronic medical record systems would be an advantage.

Comprehensive training is delivered in-house (initial theoretical training up to 4 weeks) with the potential for further external education.

The successful applicants will be part of a professional team, including doctors, other Melanographers and nurses.

The position will involve shifts ranging between 7am and 8:30pm.

Once training is complete, an example of ongoing available shifts may include:

Mondays: 7am - 3pm or 1pm – 5:45pm

Tuesdays: 9am - 1 pm, 1:30pm - 5pm or 7:30am - 3pm

Wednesdays: 8:30 - 1pm or 1:30 - 8:30pm

Thursdays: 9am - 1pm or 1:30 - 5pm

Fridays: 8:30am - 1pm or 1:30 - 5pm

A current Working With Children Check and CPR certificate is required and must be supplied upon request.
