We are seeking a Kitchen Hand responsible for kitchen cleaning duties, receiving deliveries and some minimal food preparation. The role requires a reliable, self-motivated person that maintains a positive and enthusiastic approach in everything they do.

Duties and responsibilities include:

  • General washing up of all pots, pans, crockery and cutlery.
  • To ensure the kitchen and all equipment is cleaned in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • To check off and accept deliveries ensuring that food is packaged correctly and is temperature controlled.
  • To pack away food and other items delivered, storing food in accordance with procedures specifications.
  • To support the kitchen team.

The successful applicants must have the following attributes:

  • Be honest and reliable with a proactive can-do attitude.
  • Be able to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Be able to multitask and work well under pressure.
  • Available to work on a flexible roster which includes some weekends and nights.
  • Willing to obtain a police check.
