We currently have a Full Time opportunity available within our Wholesale Poultry Production plant. They are:
- Poultry Process Worker / Relief Delivery Driver

In order to be considered for these roles you must display the following:
Duties - Process Worker
Key Responsibilities:- Performing tasks efficiently
- Completing manual tasks
- Boxing / packing of products
- Labelling of products
- Weighing and sorting of products
Attention to detail
Cut, trim, and prepare meat portions according to product specifications
- Follow all hygiene, safety, and quality control procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including regular sanitation of tools and equipment.
- Operate machinery (e.g., slicers, trimmers, conveyors) safely and effectively if trained.
- Report any equipment issues or product quality concerns to the supervisor immediately.
- Adhere to company policies, food safety regulations (e.g., HACCP)
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in poultry or meat processing preferred.
- Ability to use knives and cutting tools safely and accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and quality control.
- Physically fit and able to stand for long periods and lift heavy items.
- Comfortable working in a cold, wet, and fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to follow strict hygiene and safety protocols.
- Ability to work as part of a team and meet production quotas.
- Must be reliable and have own transport.
Working Conditions:
- Cold, damp, and noisy processing environment.
- Repetitive tasks and standing for extended periods.
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, aprons, hairnets, and safety boots.
- May be required to work early mornings, rotating shifts, weekends, or overtime. (Process Workers to work every second Saturday)
Duties - Delivery Driver -
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Relief Delivery Driver to transport poultry products safely and efficiently from our facility to retail stores, wholesalers, restaurants, hospitals and customers. The ideal candidate will have a clean driving record, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to maintaining product quality and customer satisfaction during deliveries. Delivery driver position must be well presented with current drivers licence.
Key Responsibilities:- Load poultry products onto the delivery vehicle, ensuring proper handling and secure placement.
- Deliver poultry to designated locations in a timely and safe manner.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the delivery vehicle according to health and safety regulations.
- Obtain delivery confirmations, signatures, and maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups.
- Inspect delivery vehicle before and after trips, reporting any maintenance issues.
- Follow all road safety regulations and company procedures.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules or issues.
- Ensure temperature-sensitive products are transported within required conditions, using coolers or refrigeration systems if applicable.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license.
- Clean driving record.
- Previous delivery or truck driving experience preferred.
- Ability to lift and move heavy boxes.
- Good time-management and organizational skills.
- Willingness to work early mornings.
- Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and inspection procedures.
- Comfortable working around raw poultry products.
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
Working Conditions:
- May be exposed to odours, noise, and temperature extremes.
- Driving for extended periods and lifting heavy items required.
- Must wear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) as required.
