We currently have a Full Time opportunity available within our Wholesale Poultry Production plant. They are:

• Poultry Process Worker / Relief Delivery Driver

In order to be considered for these roles you must display the following:

Duties - Process Worker

• Performing tasks efficiently
• Completing manual tasks
• Boxing / packing of products
• Labelling of products
• Weighing and sorting of products

• Attention to detail

• Cut, trim, and prepare meat portions according to product specifications

• Follow all hygiene, safety, and quality control procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including regular sanitation of tools and equipment.
• Operate machinery (e.g., slicers, trimmers, conveyors) safely and effectively if trained.
• Report any equipment issues or product quality concerns to the supervisor immediately.
• Adhere to company policies, food safety regulations (e.g., HACCP)

• Previous experience in poultry or meat processing preferred.
• Ability to use knives and cutting tools safely and accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control.
• Physically fit and able to stand for long periods and lift heavy items.
• Comfortable working in a cold, wet, and fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to follow strict hygiene and safety protocols.
• Ability to work as part of a team and meet production quotas.
• Must be reliable and have own transport.

• Cold, damp, and noisy processing environment.
• Repetitive tasks and standing for extended periods.
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, aprons, hairnets, and safety boots.
• May be required to work early mornings, rotating shifts, weekends, or overtime. (Process Workers to work every second Saturday)

Duties - Delivery Driver -

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Relief Delivery Driver to transport poultry products safely and efficiently from our facility to retail stores, wholesalers, restaurants, hospitals and customers. The ideal candidate will have a clean driving record, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to maintaining product quality and customer satisfaction during deliveries. Delivery driver position must be well presented with current drivers licence.

• Load poultry products onto the delivery vehicle, ensuring proper handling and secure placement.
• Deliver poultry to designated locations in a timely and safe manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the delivery vehicle according to health and safety regulations.
• Obtain delivery confirmations, signatures, and maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups.
• Inspect delivery vehicle before and after trips, reporting any maintenance issues.
• Follow all road safety regulations and company procedures.
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules or issues.
• Ensure temperature-sensitive products are transported within required conditions, using coolers or refrigeration systems if applicable.

• Valid driver's license.
• Clean driving record.
• Previous delivery or truck driving experience preferred.
• Ability to lift and move heavy boxes.
• Good time-management and organizational skills.
• Willingness to work early mornings.
• Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and inspection procedures.
• Comfortable working around raw poultry products.
• Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.

• May be exposed to odours, noise, and temperature extremes.
• Driving for extended periods and lifting heavy items required.
• Must wear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) as required.
