Bush Regenerator / Revegetation Field Crew – Casual
Help restore our natural areas – flexible casual opportunities available
We are seeking motivated people to join our team on a casual basis (a few days per week, but potential to grow into more) to assist with bush regeneration, weed control, and revegetation works across South East Queensland.
This role is suited to someone who enjoys working outdoors, values the environment, and is keen to contribute to the restoration of local bushland.
We are a small and experienced team, and the business is growing steadily. We'd like to add new staff so we can help guide and mentor our team into something bigger.
You'll get to work on projects covering a wide range of restoration services, including weed management, offset planting, erosion control and ecosystem restoration. You'll see first-hand the transformation of degraded land back into functioning ecosystems, all while growing your skills under experienced ecologists and restoration professionals. We'll also train you up in all things safety so you can be competent and confident on site.
About the Role
You will work as part of a small team on a variety of natural area projects, including:
- Bush regeneration and ecological restoration
- Weed control and herbicide application
- Planting, mulching, site maintenance, watering
- Habitat restoration and erosion control
About You
- Enthusiastic about working outdoors and improving the natural environment
- Able to work in a team and follow directions
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual outdoor work
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn
Highly regarded (but not essential):
- Certificate III in Conservation & Ecosystem Management (CALM)
- ACDC (Agricultural Chemical Distribution Control) certification
- First Aid and CPR
- Chainsaw Level 1
Requirements
- Current White Card (Construction Induction Safety Certificate)
- Manual driver's licence
- Australian work rights
