About the role

At Border Medical Laser & Aesthetics, we are seeking an experienced and passionate Endorsed Midwife to join our Earthside Midwifery team on a part-time basis in beautiful Northeastern, VIC.

This role would involve care of patients from preconception through to the postnatal period and options for beyond. In hospital birth support is offered to our patients, which is paid as a fee for service, and patient load can be capped according to your lifestyle.

1. Supporting women and families through pregnancy, birth and beyond — 
   the full journey, not just the moments in between
2. Doing thoughtful assessments and creating 
   care plans that aren't copy-paste
3. Teaming up with our lovely crew + local healthcare partners to make sure care feels 
   smooth, connected and stress-free
4. Sharing knowledge, reassurance and real talk — helping women feel 
   confident, informed, and truly supported
5. Keeping documentation tidy, accurate and on-point (we love clarity and future-you will thank you)
6. Staying curious, growing your skills, and keeping up with 
   evidence-based, modern midwifery
    because we're here to do this well

What we're looking for

1. Endorsed Midwife with a current AHPRA registration
2. Minimum of 2 years' experience as an Endorsed Midwife, preferably in a hospital or community-based setting
3. Excellent clinical skills, with a strong understanding of maternal and neonatal care
4. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide empathetic, patient-centred care
5. Demonstrated problem-solving and critical thinking abilities to manage complex situations effectively
6. Commitment to continuing professional development and evidence-based practice
