The Role

We are currently seeking a qualified and passionate Speech Therapist to support a 3-year-old child in Glenfield, New South Wales. This one-on-one role involves working closely with the child and their family in the home or early learning setting, focusing on early intervention strategies to support speech, language, and overall communication development.

About the Role

As a Speech Therapist in this role, you will:

  • Provide direct therapy to a 3-year-old child with communication and speech delays
  • Create and implement developmentally appropriate, individualised therapy plans
  • Engage the family in therapy, offering strategies for use at home
  • Deliver early intervention in a home or preschool environment
  • Collaborate with families and other professionals to ensure cohesive support
  • Track progress and adapt intervention plans accordingly
  • Maintain accurate documentation aligned with NDIS and clinical standards

About You

  • Degree-qualified Speech Pathologist with current Speech Pathology Australia (SPA) membership
  • Experience working with young children, particularly in early intervention
  • Knowledge of speech and language milestones and evidence-based therapy approaches
  • Strong communication skills and a family-centred approach
  • Self-motivated, organised, and confident working independently in community settings

NDIS Compliance

You will need to hold or be willing to obtain:

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Working with Children Check (New South Wales)
  • National Police Clearance
  • Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module

Location

This role is based in Glenfield, NSW, providing community-based services to a single participant in the local area.
