Role Overview:

The Product UI/UX & Web Designer is responsible for the optimisation and performance of MAA's digital platforms and donor journeys. This role leads the UX strategy and continuous improvement of MAA's website, donation flow, and app experiences, ensuring they are intuitive, accessible, and conversion-focused. The role requires a strong understanding of user behaviour, interface design, and digital analytics to drive better engagement and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and continuous optimisation of the donation experience across devices
  • Collaborate with marketing and dev teams to A/B test and improve UX/UI
  • Lead testing initiatives and coordinate fixes
  • Identify user friction points and propose evidence-based solutions
  • Monitor conversion rates and user behaviour using analytics tools
  • Manage performance of platforms & onsite campaign activation to optimise conversion rate & basket size
  • Deliver weekly reports on product performance

About You:

You're a digital product designer who thrives on improving the user journey through thoughtful, data-informed UX and clean, conversion-driven UI. You're collaborative and comfortable balancing user-centred design with organisational goals.

You bring a strong eye for detail, solid experience across website and mobile app experiences, and enjoy experimenting with A/B testing, analytics tools, and user feedback to drive growth.

Essential:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in UX/UI design, preferably with eCommerce or nonprofit experience
  • Strong grasp of digital product design principles and conversion optimisation
  • Experience working with design systems, wireframes, and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma)
  • Experience with Web design, including using WordPress, Elementor, or similar platforms
  • Familiarity with analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, or Hotjar

Desirable:

  • Experience designing for mobile-first donation or fundraising experiences
  • Understanding of donor psychology and motivations
  • Basic front-end coding knowledge to communicate with developers
  • Experience working in fast-paced, collaborative marketing teams
  • Interest in humanitarian causes and using design for purpose-led outcomes
