Workfast are currently seeking experienced Boilermakers to start inSunshine, Melbourne, VIC.

Welding beams and cutting steel, reading plans. MIG and possibly ARC welding are required. You MUST have structural steel and workshop based experience.

  • Start ASAP
  • Ongoing work
  • $52 per hour + superannuation
  • 8-10 hour days, Monday to Friday + OT on offer + Saturdays available
  • Sunshine North Melbourne VIC
  • Day shift positions 6:00 am - 4:00 pm with regular OT

Qualification and Skills Required:

  • Full Australian working rights with no restrictions
  • Australia Trade Certificate Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade Boilermaking/Welding
  • White card
  • Experience in MIG and ARC + boilermaking
  • Able to read plans and drawings
  • Ability to complete police checks, drug and alcohol and medical

Responsibilities :

  • Structural Steel Fabricating
  • Fabrication and Boilermaking/Welding
  • Should be competent to read drawings and work independently
  • Welding beams and cutting steel
  • Fabricating the frame and structure in the factory
  • No onsite work, no project work
  • Ability to perform repetitive and physically demanding duties
  • Complete ad hoc duties as assigned by the site supervisor
