What You Will Do

• Deliver and support secure, high-performance network infrastructure across day-to-day operations.
• Proactively monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot network and security systems to ensure availability and optimal performance.
• Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to implement and enhance infrastructure and security capabilities.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date network documentation and diagrams to support operational continuity.
• Ensure compliance with frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI-DSS, and Essential Eight.
• Lead initiatives to improve systems uptime, performance, and redundancy capabilities.
• Participate in the on-call roster to provide after-hours support as needed.

Who You Are

• 8+ years in Network Engineering and deployment, including 5+ years in Network Security within a Managed Services environment.
• Strong skills in any Fortinet technologies, (FortiGate Firewall, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, FortiAuthenticator) Fortinet Certified Associate or Professional preferred.
• Skilled in Data Centre Network - Routing, Switching and BGP. (Cisco, Arista), CCNP or equivalent preferred
• Working Knowledge in any two of the below - IPSec/VPN, Cisco ISE, DNS configurations, and load balancer technologies (Kemp, F5, NetScaler).
• Familiar with Cloudflare SaaS security products (e.g., Zero Trust, DNS, Load Balancing, WAF).
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset.
• Experience with ITSM platforms such as ServiceNow or similar.
• Understanding of compliance frameworks, especially within the financial sector.
• Scripting or automation knowledge is a bonus.
