URbun bakery is innovative, forward thinking and boasts a loyal customer base serviced by our dedicated team. As the leader in supplying milk buns to Sydney's best restaurants and cafes, we are proud of our products and the dedicated team that makes it all possible.

Due to our exceptional growth over the last 5 years we are looking for a process worker ideally with experience in large scale bakery to work the afternoon shift.

This role is full-time with set afternoon-evening shifts of 4PM-12AM, Monday to Friday. Overtime may be required as will the expectation to work one Saturday a month. Some overtime may occur, but this is the exception.

MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Working final stages of the baking process in preparation for pick/pack
  • Loading buns and loaves into commercial ovens
  • Supporting the packing staff as required
  • Maintaining a clean and safe workspace
  • Ensure workplace health & safety policies and procedures are adhered to
  • Other tasks as directed

Skills and Experience

  • Experience in large scale wholesale baking production preferred
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently
  • Able to lift up to 20 kilos and push/pull loaded trolleys
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Organised and able to meet deadlines
  • Focused on quality in service and product
  • Willing to finish the job without hesitation
