The Role:

We have exciting opportunities for enthusiastic and reliable Cleaners to join our team at a busy retail centre in Chermside.

This role is ideal for individuals who love working in a fast-paced environment, have great attention to detail, and enjoy creating clean and welcoming spaces for our clients and customers.

Casual positions available. Shifts may be day or night, depending on supervisor requirements. Must be open to any shift - 7 Days availability

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform general cleaning duties to a high standard.
  • Spot cleaning of furnishings.
  • Sweeping and mopping
  • Toilet cleaning
  • Rubbish collection, ensuring proper waste disposal
  • Cleaning of glass, both internal and external
  • Dusting of all hard surface
  • Mall patrolling
  • Identifying areas needing immediate attention.
  • Reporting maintenance issues.
  • Ensuring cleaning supplies are stocked.
  • Operating industrial cleaning machines.

About You:

  • Demonstrated cleaning experience, in a commercial environment would be an advantage especially Retail.
  • Holds a current police check
  • We require someone with experience in machinery including the operation of a car park sweeper, pressure washer, and holds a manual driver's licence
  • A team player who contributes positively in a collaborative work environment.
  • The ability to follow instructions and work autonomously.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Can demonstrate strong reliability and punctuality while at work.
  • Good understanding of Work Health and Safety standards.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and public holidays when required.

You must have valid work rights in Australia.
