THE ROLE & WHY JOIN US

Are you an experience Area Manager or a Sommelier ready for a new role? We advertised this role last year, and we've hired a new ABM to join us, but we need another Joining us you'll represent Joval Wines in Sydney's inner-city, working with high-end on-premise customers. Your new role offers you:

A note on salary. We are negotiable, depending on factors including your depth of experience, knowledge of wine, connections in the sector and formal education. We'll be looking at $85,000 + super upwards.

WHAT WE WANT YOU TO DO

As our Area Business Manager, you will:

  • Build & maintain relationships in Sydney's on-premise sector
  • Hunt for new opportunities & grow the territory
  • Speak with sommeliers to develop wine lists
  • Represent Joval Wines at industry events, including weeknights & weekends
  • Improve sales performance via managing discounts & margins
  • Negotiate trading terms as required
  • Support winery partners via trade visits & activations

Overall, you will be driving sales for your territory by creating and maintaining the right relationships in the on-premise channel.

WHAT YOU NEED TO DO IT

Ready to sell with Joval Wines? You'll fit right in if you are a sommelier in Sydney's hospitality scene or if you've sat in a similar Area Manager role within the wine industry. You'll also:

  • Have a clean & valid driver's license
  • Be able to build, maintain and foster positive relationships,
  • Have customers that want to work with you
  • Possess exceptional wine knowledge, able to speak the language of wine confidently
  • Bring hospitality connections from across Sydney
