Strathmore Family Medical Centre have been providing healthcare to Strathmore, Essendon and surrounding suburbs for over 40 years.

We are looking for an experienced Enrolled Nurse to join our team that is available to work Tuesday & Wednesday and must be flexible to cover annual leave and sick leave as required.

Your role will be to support the daily operation of our general practice and support to our practice manager. The responsibilities will include front administration duties.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be involved in a wide variety of clinical tasks including, but not limited to:

Nursing duties include:

  • Providing patient care and clinical support under the supervision of GPs
  • Assisting registered nurses with the delivery of nursing care to patients
  • Triage and prioritisation of emergency situations
  • Supporting GPs with minor surgical procedures
  • Assisting with wound care, health assessments, and care plans
  • Administering immunisations and managing post-vaccine observations
  • Maintaining accurate patient clinical data
  • Supporting infection control and safety processes
  • Administration duties

About You

We're looking for Enrolled Nurse who are passionate about patient care and committed to working as part of a collaborative clinical team.

  • Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse
  • Previous experience in General Practice or an acute care setting
  • Best Practice software knowledge
  • Strong time management and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A warm, patient-focused attitude and a team-first approach

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $49,900.00 – $106,035.45 per year
