The Role

Weily's Betta are looking for a Retail Sales Assistant to join our dynamic team, on a full time basis with the possibility for a permanent part time position for the right person.

About Us

Weily's Betta is a third generation locally owned and operated electrical retailer that has been trading in Orange for over 70yrs. We are part of Australia's largest independent electrical and furniture retailer. We pride ourselves on strong personal customer service and product knowledge which has kept our loyal customers coming back for generations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional and consistent customer service both face-to-face and over the phone
  • Ensure all visual merchandise and store presentation is maintained to a quality standard
  • Monitor and assist with the web orders that come through to store, this includes organizing delivery of the items in a timely manner
  • Following up with customers to be sure their expectations are met
  • Performing up-sell and cross-sell strategies
Experience & attributes for our ideal candidate:
  • Retail sales experience is advantageous but not required
  • Required Monday through to Saturday
  • Reliable, with a strong work ethic and a sense of initiative
  • Outstanding communication & interpersonal skills
  • Ability to learn & retain information on our wide range of products
  • Due to the nature of the products we sell, heavy lifting will be required
  • Welcoming & positive attitude
  • Ability to work in a team as well as working autonomously, in a sometimes fast-paced environment
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
