About the role

Our K&B Mitre 10 Naracoorte store is looking for an outgoing and enthusiastic individual to join the team as a Retail Sales Assistant.

We have both full time and casual available. For the full-time position, you will be working a 38-hour work week, with shifts scheduled across Monday to Sunday (your work pattern can be arranged in consultation with your manager).

This role is perfect for someone with a strong customer service mindset and solid product knowledge, who is passionate about delivering the best possible experience to our customers. You'll also help ensure store displays are well maintained and that all products are correctly priced and clearly labelled.

What you will be doing;

· Welcome and assist customers in store, provide advice and information on products

· Handle customer queries, in person and over the phone, and offer solutions

· Processing sales through our POS system

· Create and dispatch customer special orders and item delivery

· Put up signage, price tickets and promotional material

· Perform all tasks according to the OH&S guidelines and keeping the areas clean and tidy

· Report any suspected theft or suspicious behaviour, or notify Store Manager of any potential hazards

You'll likely be a match if you have:

· Basic to Intermediate MS Office skills

· Experience in gardening and gardening tools an advantage

· Strong work ethic, reliable and punctual

· Passionate, highly motivated and a team player

· Customer-focused and a "can do" attitude

· Previous retail or sales experience, trade qualification is an advantage

· A forklift licence would be an advantage

· Experience in cash handling
