About the role

Painter tradesperson or brush hand required at GPS PAINTING', you will be part of a dynamic team delivering high-quality painting services to residential and commercial customers on the Sunshine coast. Our work covers interior and exterior repaints to residential and small body corporate buildings and renovations, We cover all of the sunshine coast region but majority of work is on the Northern part of the coast, This is a casual position, offering flexible work arrangements to suit your lifestyle. You will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the visual appeal of properties throughout the local community.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as required
• Mixing and applying paints, stains, and other coatings using brushes, rollers, and spraying equipment
• Ensuring a high standard of workmanship and attention to detail in all painting tasks
• Collaborating with the team to complete projects in a timely and efficient manner
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment, following all relevant health and safety protocols
• Providing excellent customer service and responding to client questions or concerns

What we're looking for

• Trade qualification as a Painter or extensive experience as a brush hand
• Demonstrated expertise in surface preparation, paint application, and colour matching
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
• Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's licence
