Music Tutor – Casual (Morisset Area)

Are you passionate about sharing the joy of music with children? We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic multi-instrumentalist music tutor to join our team in the Morisset area.

This role is ideal for someone who is not only a great musician but also enjoys working with kids, can communicate clearly with parents and schools, and thrives on being organised and dependable.

• Casual employment – roughly 22 hours per week with Tuesday to Friday the current days of operation during school term
• Location: Primary schools across the Morisset area, with potential for studio and online lessons
• Teach private, pair, and group lessons
• Coordinate and support student performances
• Communicate with parents and schools
• Use of your own laptop or tablet for music playback in lessons as well as admin and communication tasks
• Some gear transport required (driver's licence and car essential)

We're looking for someone who is:

• Musically versatile – basic sight reading skills and confident teaching at least 3 instruments from the following: keyboard, guitar, drums, vocals. Other instruments are welcome, though not required.
• Reliable and consistent – lessons start on time, every time
• Teachable and adaptable – open to guidance and feedback
• Great with kids – patient, encouraging, and fun
• Strong in admin and communication – organised, responsive, and professional
• A natural problem solver – calm and resourceful under pressure
• Honest and committed – looking for a long-term role

• All equipment provided for school lessons
• Exceptional admin support – so you can focus on teaching
• A small, supportive team passionate about high-quality music education

• Licence and car (for transport of gear when needed)
• Ability to teach a beginner to moderate level of at least 3 different instruments
• Current Working With Children Check (or willing to obtain)
• Police Check (or willing to obtain)
