About the role
As a Pharmacist, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, comprehensive and patient-focused pharmacy services across inpatient and outpatient settings. You will apply your clinical expertise to optimise drug therapy, ensure safe and effective medication use, and provide expert therapeutic advice to medical, nursing and allied health professionals. Working within established hospital and departmental frameworks, you will contribute to the delivery of evidence-based care in alignment with SA Health guidelines and relevant legislation.
You will work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team, supporting medication management processes and participating in continuous improvement initiatives that enhance patient outcomes. Your role will involve both clinical and dispensing responsibilities, ensuring accuracy, efficiency and adherence to quality standards. In this role, you will bring:
- Qualifications & Registration
Bachelor of Pharmacy (or equivalent) and current or eligible registration with the Pharmacy Board of Australia. - Clinical & Technical Capability
Completion of pre-registration training in a hospital or community pharmacy, with sound knowledge of clinical pharmacy practice, dispensing, and patient counselling. - Communication & Collaboration
Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team, and a professional, patient-focused approach. - Organisation & Adaptability
Excellent organisational skills, accuracy and attention to detail, with the ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and adapt to change with resilience.
