Playability Tester

Job Description:

We are seeking a Playability Tester to evaluate and improve the overall gameplay experience of our titles. In this role, you will test game builds to assess playability, fun factor, balance, and user experience, providing actionable feedback to designers and developers. You will help ensure that our games are engaging, accessible, and enjoyable for a wide range of players.

Key Responsibilities:

Playtest game builds to evaluate gameplay mechanics, controls, balance, and overall enjoyment.

Identify issues that affect playability, such as confusing mechanics, unclear objectives, or pacing problems.

Provide detailed, structured feedback on player experience, usability, and fun factor.

Collaborate with game designers, QA testers, and UX teams to refine features and systems.

Document playtest sessions and report findings in a clear and organized manner.

Suggest improvements to increase accessibility, engagement, and long-term player satisfaction.

Stay informed about current gaming trends and player expectations to benchmark experiences.

Qualifications:

Strong passion for gaming and deep understanding of player behavior and motivations.

Excellent communication and analytical skills for providing constructive feedback.

Ability to think from both a player's and a designer's perspective.

Attention to detail and patience when testing repetitive scenarios.

• Basic familiarity with QA processes and bug reporting tools is a plus.
