About the role

The Bright Ranger Team Leader will lead a team to deliver high quality services in line with organisational priorities and under the direction of the Area Chief Ranger across a remote and spectacular part of the Alpine National Park. This position will play a key role in ensuring we continue to deliver our on-ground services. We are looking for a person to lead this team and respond to the dynamic, diverse and complex nature of the work.

About the Team

The Parks Victoria team based out of Bright are a highly motivated team, managing some of the most interesting and sensitive parts of the State.

We're looking for someone with:

  • Extensive experience in leadership, performance management and managing a team day to day.
  • Demonstrated flexibility in workload management.
  • Strong customer service skills focus both internally and externally.
  • Track record in dealing with external stakeholders on a range of land management issues.
