The Role
As a Project Engineer, you'll join a high-performing and supportive team of project engineers and technical specialists across Australia. You will be responsible for end-to-end project delivery, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives are achieved while maintaining strong client relationships and technical excellence.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and coordinating end-to-end project delivery from contract handover through to closeout.
- Leading internal teams and external vendors, ensuring alignment through effective stakeholder engagement and communication.
- Applying structured project management processes and performance monitoring tools, including cost controls.
- Proactively identifying and reporting project risks, implementing mitigation strategies.
- Preparing and developing cost estimates for new opportunities, supporting bids and proposals.
- Building strong client relationships through regular engagement, project reviews, and reporting cycles.
Skills & Experience
We are seeking candidates who bring both technical expertise and strong stakeholder engagement skills. You will ideally have:
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
- 5+ years' experience for in project engineering or project management within mineral processing, vibrating screens, or heavy equipment.
- Previous experience working for OEMs will be highly regarded
- The ability to edit/update AutoCAD drawings (Inventor experience advantageous).
- Strong knowledge of MS Office suite and exposure to ERP/EDM systems (Microsoft BC or similar).
- Proven ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
- Strong planning, organisation, and time management capability.
- A proactive, detail-focused approach and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multinational team environment.
