- Make your mark: your contributions are visible and valued
- Engineer smarter: work with automated pipelines and gold-standard practices
- See the difference: what you build directly improves people's financial lives
The opportunity to join our team
We're looking for a curious and capable Software Engineer who's passionate about building quality solutions end-to-end. In this role, you'll work on an application that's highly visible and widely used across our Advice business and shapes how Australians receive financial advice. Your work will be highly visible, directly impacting client outcomes, and you'll deliver solutions across both front and back end, moving from idea to release with daily deployments thanks to our automated pipelines.
You'll join a collaborative team of mid-level and senior engineers, with plenty of knowledge-sharing and mentoring on offer. Along the way, you'll gain exposure to continuous delivery, automated testing, and streamlined dev pipelines - all within a culture that values learning, growth, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pick up tickets and deliver end-to-end full stack solutions
- Write clean, tested, and maintainable code that meets team standards
- Support and enhance the Wealth Central application (BAU + projects)
- Collaborate closely with engineers, testers, and stakeholders
- Contribute to continuous improvements and root cause analysis
What you will bring
We're looking for someone with a solid grounding in full stack development, especially strong in Java, who's comfortable working in Agile teams and eager to keep learning. You don't need to tick every box, but here's what will help you succeed:
- Familiarity with unit and integration testing
- Experience working in Agile environments
- Proven software development experience
- Financial services experience is nice to have, but not essential
Find the better way
What gets us excited about working here? Helping people feel good about their money as one of Australia's leading financial wellbeing organisations. From those starting out to those retiring. As your team, we'll show up for you and together we will create financial wellbeing for every Australian. Because we know people who are confident about their financial future live better lives.
If this sounds like your kind of career, you sound like our kind of person. With us, you'll do work that builds your technical know-how and challenges our entire industry to move forward. Along the way, you'll be free to explore new ideas and technology, solve problems in a team, and independently to get great things done. Around here, we like to call it "putting our fingerprints on the future".
People-inspired tech
Deep expertise combined with creativity can take on the trickiest of problems. Join our team of brilliant minds and mentors as we explore our way to innovation and apply technology in more human ways than ever.
