  • Lead the Charge as an Electrical Supervisor – Cardiff

Join Sulzer Australia's dynamic Cardiff Service Centre as an Electrical Supervisor, where your leadership and technical expertise will drive excellence in electrical machine repair and team performance.

About the Role:

This is a hands-on supervisory role overseeing the inspection, repair, and overhaul of High, Medium, and Low Voltage rotating equipment. You'll lead a skilled team, ensure safe and efficient operations, and play a key role in mentoring, scheduling, and quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise workshop personnel and daily operations.
  • Inspect, repair, and overhaul HV/MV/LV motors, generators, compressors, and rotating equipment.
  • Lead and mentor departmental staff, fostering a culture of safety and performance.
  • Manage job scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.

What We're Looking For:

  • Trade qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (Electrical License advantageous).
  • 5+ years' experience in electrical rotating equipment repair.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong communication and high-level problem-solving abilities.
