Working as the Software Engineering Lead for an emerging scale up you will have the following core deliverables and skillset:

Key Deliverables:

  • Working closely with the founders you will provide technical leadership, strategy and direction to support the growth of the product
  • Take an MVP and evolve this to something scalable
  • Creating a stable and scalable product that will support significant government workloads
  • Leading people, mentoring and being accountable for a small but growing software team
  • Work closely with the Product team
  • Working closely with AWS
  • Be customer and stakeholder facing

Core Skillset:

  • Experience leading a team of software developers
  • Experience in a software product environment
  • Significant Cloud Native platform experience
  • AWS Essential
  • Neo4J – desirable
  • Experience working with Large Language Models
  • Hands on technical capability and broadly tech agnostic experience

Currently this business does not have an office, however, they will be selecting an office shortly and once selected there will be office attendance required as part of the role. 

It is essential for this role that you have current residence in the Perth Metropolitan region and full working rights to be considered for the position.
