You'll work closely with project teams and senior leaders, with a strong focus on front-end construction law, project delivery, and corporate compliance.What does a day look like?Contracts: Drafting, negotiating, and advising on engineering and construction agreements, ensuring smooth contractual setup, compliance with applicable laws, policies and procedures, and risk mitigation. Experience with D&C, ITC, EPCM, and Alliance models is essential.Disputes & Insurance: Managing claims and litigation, including professional indemnity matters, in collaboration with internal teams, insurers, and external counsel.Training & Education: Delivering legal and commercial training to project teams to promote risk awareness and legal understanding.Compliance & Governance: Maintaining internal policies, implementing legal updates, and contributing to monthly legal communications.Knowledge Management: Supporting the development of legal precedents and resources.Team Leadership: Mentoring junior legal staff and contributing to team strategy and growth.Corporate Advisory: Providing ad hoc legal advice on corporate law, IP, privacy, competition law, and insurance.What You'll BringLaw degree and current Australian practising certificate5–10 years' post-qualification experienceExperience in either consulting engineering/architecture or the construction sectorStrong understanding of procurement models and contract lawExcellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skillsA collaborative mindset and a passion for continuous learningWho are we?
