Powdercoater

Cranfield Group has partnered with a Fabrication company based on the Sunshine Coast. 

With multiple new contracts and projects on the horizon, our client is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Powdercoater to join their team.

This is a full time opportunity with an immediate start. 

Responsibilities:

• Perform Powder coating on aluminium fence panels, balustrades, screens, posts and long lengths of extrusions
• Perform pre-treatment, hanging, and wrapping as well as coating.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Operate and maintain equipment and tools
• Work effectively in a team environment

Requirements:

• Prior powder coating Experience and attention to detail essential
• Ability to perform and pass D&A testing.
• Proficiency in powder coating aluminum and sheet metal
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Familiarity with safety procedures and guidelines
• Must have the ability to work independently and have the right attitude to get the job done.
• Reference and contact details of past two employers
• Ability to use initiative for other tasks around workshop
