Sheetmetal Fabricator

We are currently looking for a Trade-Qualified Fabricator to join our team at our Clontarf workshop, manufacturing high-quality electrical enclosures and custom Sheetmetal solutions.

This is a casual position for 38hrs per week for the first 3 months. Can turn into full time employment after the casual period based on workmanship. Wages are inclusive of casual loading.

For the right candidate there is potential to develop into a leadership role within the company.

What You'll Be Doing:

• MIG & TIG welding of mild steel, aluminum & stainless-steel
• Sanding, grinding and polishing welded components for powder coating
• Interpreting CAD/fabrication drawings accurately
• Manufacturing a variety of custom enclosures in a fast-paced workshop
• Collaborating with a skilled and supportive team

What You'll Bring:

• Trade qualification in fabrication or welding (preferred)
• Strong MIG / TIG welding experience
• Ability to read and work from CAD or shop drawings
• Positive attitude and a strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Reliable, punctual, and willing to work overtime when required
• High motivation and willingness to learn
• Either welding or sheetmetal trade qualification required
• Experience with electrical enclosures or switchboard fabrication preferred but not essential
